Special Discount for Iranian Citizens
In a supportive move, the Qeshm Free Zone Organization has announced new entry ticket rates for the registered geosites of the Qeshm UNESCO Global Geopark, offering a significant discount for Iranian tourists. This new policy, effective from May 31, 2025, aims to increase access for Iranians to these unique natural and geological attractions, offering a special opportunity to experience the wonders of the Qeshm Global Geopark up close.
Details of the New Ticket Pricing
According to a recent resolution by the Board of Directors of the Qeshm Free Zone Organization, the entry fee for foreign tourists visiting Qeshm’s geosites has been set at 300,000 tomans. However, in a major supportive gesture, Iranian citizens will enjoy a highly discounted rate—just 30,000 tomans, which is only 10% of the international ticket price. This initiative reflects the organization’s strong commitment to domestic tourism and improving public access to Iran’s geological heritage.
