In recent years, the Qeshm Free Zone Organization has emphasized investment in this field, placing greater importance on attracting both domestic and international tourists. Qeshm, with its beautiful beaches, nature, and numerous attractions, especially during the second half of the year and the Nowruz holidays due to favorable weather conditions, attracts a large number of domestic tourists. The daily number of visitors to the island reaches approximately 500,000 people.
Given the high volume of travelers on the island and the multiple routes from Qeshm to neighboring domestic areas such as Bandar Abbas, Hormuz Island, Larak Island, and Hengam Island, as well as to foreign destinations like Dubai, Muscat, and Khasab, the development of the marine passenger fleet is essential.
